Latest Version Of Android TV OS Launched With Better Features

Google has officially launched its latest and newest version of Android TV OS, Android 13, for smart TVs. The new OS has brought with it some major improvements in performance and accessibility that are going to help developers in delivering high-quality apps for smart TVs. The latest version has several new features. It has a new set of APIs for the big screen that will assist developers in developing and delivering high-quality experiences to users across all platforms and devices.
Improvements in the AudioManager API will allow developers to understand audio attribute support for the audio device, says a statement from Google. This will mean a selection of the optimal format without starting playback.

Users can also change the default resolution and refresh rate for a better playback experience on HDMI-supported devices. The fresh changes will also add power-saving and content-pausing options on TV dongles and other HDMI source devices. Not just that, the latest features also ensure that TV viewing and interaction are more adaptable. The new Input Device API supports different kinds of keyboard layouts. Game developers can easily understand the physical location of keys to ‘support different layouts of physical keyboards’.
